Jarvia Foxter - Registered Osteopath

Jarvia’s patients benefit from a unique package of integrated healthcare which combines Osteopathy, Medical Acupuncture and Neuromuscular Rehabilitation.

This therapeutic approach involves a comprehensive fusion of Osteopathy (including a structural approach using manipulations and soft tissue work; functional, visceral and cranial techniques) which is used to release restrictions and tension within the body and to relieve pain. This in turn assists the body with the opportunity to heal itself. Medical Acupuncture is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal pain. Neuromuscular Rehabilitation is the process of helping a person recover their movement and functional capacity that have been altered due to pain or injury.

When you visit Jarvia you will be treated with the highest professional standards, given the best possible care and a commitment to getting you better and back to normal health usually with just a small number of treatments. She will be able to treat not only the symptoms of your condition, but also find and treat the underlying cause.

Osteopathy is a form of drug-free non-invasive manual medicine that treats and strengthens the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine. Osteopathy is used to treat a number of conditions including back pain, arthritis and sciatica.

Acupuncture is used to treat conditions such as back pain, joint pain and muscle injury as well as a number of other conditions. Research suggests that acupuncture functions to relieve pain, decrease muscle tightness, and increase joint flexibility.
